Terms & Conditions

  • All bookings are considered to be provisional & subject to cancellation until the hotel has received signed written confirmation &the wedding couple have met with a member of management. Provisional bookings will be held for two weeks and will be released if no communication has been received to confirm the booking at that stage.
  • To secure a date, a deposit of €800 will be required as confirmation of your booking - This can be paid on two installments
  • The signed written confirmation by the clients must state the dates, times, function room booked, number of guests & method of payment.  Any amendments should be confirmed to the hotel in writing and final arrangements should be submitted to the hotel at least 14 days prior to the event.
  • Once the menu has been decided, no changes will be permitted unless received in writing at least 7 days prior to the day of the event
  • Bar exemptions are available nightly at a charge of €600.  This must be confirmed to the hotel at least two months prior to the date of your wedding
  • All music must be finished by 2.00am & the banqueting suite must be vacated by 2.30am. This applies if you are having a Bar Exemption.  If there is no Bar Exemption applied for Bar closes on a Fri/Sat at 12.30am to be vacated by 1am or if it is a Sun-Thur Wedding Bar closes at 11.30am & to be vacated by 12am.
  • Residents Bar is strictly for Hotel Resident’s purpose.  Residents bar closes at Hotel Management Discretion
  • It is hotel & company policy that the accounts are settled in full the morning after a wedding.
  • 10 Rooms will be discounted for the Bride & Groom, Seasonal rates will apply to the rest of the rooms & we apply 2 nights minimum stay at the weekends.
  • Due to Health Department Regulations no food or beverage items may be brought in for consumption on the premises except for birthday or wedding cakes
  • The hotel will not accept any responsibility for any entertainment that has not been booked directly with the hotel.  However all entertainment arranged must have the approval of the hotel management prior to the date of the function. All entertainment must provide their own equipment and accept full responsibility for same.  All equipment to be removed from the hotel on the night of a function unless authorised by a member of management. 
  • Final numbers need to be confirmed to the hotel 48hours in advance of the event.  This will be the minimum number charged for. Should the numbers be higher than the confirmed final number the highest number will be charged for.
  • All prices in this package are for 2010 - 2011.

The Hotel may cancel a booking in the following circumstances:

  • Where it has reason to believe the booking might prejudice the reputation of the hotel or should any guest attending the event behave in any way considered to be detrimental, offensive or contrary to normal expected standards of behaviour.
  • The hotel reserves the right to refund the deposit in the circumstances where the booking is made through a third party or under false pretences
  • Should the hotel, for reasons beyond its control, need to change the event arrangements, it shall use all reasonable endeavours to offer the client alternative comparable arrangement & facilities.

Cancellations:
In the event of a cancellation a deposit can only be refunded if the date is re-sold
